Jestřábí Peak had been considered as inaccessible for a long time but the first climb in 1880 has changed the opinion. It is located at the end of Karbunkulovy ridge. The mountain is famous for its many tales and mythes. A tale speaks about a precious karbunkula, which ornamented the peak. But thanks to this tale a lot of people have died during attempts to get the top. And the legend continue this way. Once there way a young man which reach the top, but as soon as he touch the stone the whole mountain started to shake and the men fell to a mountain lake. Since than the mountain lake has coloured into green.
